The spam filtering mechanism incorporated into Kaspersky Mail Gateway 5.5 is based on the cutting-edge technology SpamTest™. The application scans mail traffic for spam using a method which involves comparing each message to samples of unsolicited messages in Kaspersky Lab’s anti-spam database. More importantly, spam can be detected even when messages have been modified in order to fool spam filters.
